Great article in the New York Times about shortage of geriatricians - which all seems to come down to money. Not enough geriatricians, and even some of those keeping their specialty a secret so as not to get an overload of poorly reimbursed Medicare patients. And graduating students, saddled with huge education debts, looking to more lucrative specialties.
