With some justification, one of the newbie members of the medical group who was taking call for the week, complained that Barbie S., (a somewhat manic, wacky patient of mine who had opted for breast implants so large she constantly complained of neck pain), called him over the weekend to get cleared to go sky diving.
“What exactly are the expectations when we’re on call?” he asked.
