Is health food culture finally getting the upper hand over junk food?

Eating one hot dog is a pretty risky affair (“lips and assholes” is what the wife says they’re made from – not to mention all those additives). So Joey “The Jaws” Chestnut, winner in the Nathan’s 4^th of July hot dog eating competition, forcing down 70 dogs and buns in ten minutes (and setting a new record), makes you wonder.

New Yorkers have seen the light however. At the upcoming Taste of Buffalo food festival on July 9^th and 10^th, they will have a ‘Kale Cup’ to be won by whoever eats the most kale in 8 minutes.
