You are two and a half times as likely to fall asleep while driving (3.4% versus 8.5%) if you get less than 6 hours sleep and you snore (slightly less – 2.0 vs 5.2% if you don’t snore).

Eighteen hours of sleep deprivation is the equivalent of a blood alcohol of 0.05% (legal limit is 0.08%).
